
WASHINGTON — President-elect Donald Trump is pledging again to take on high drug prices and, just like that, the brief honeymoon drug makers enjoyed after his election is fading away.
“I’m going to bring down drug prices,” Trump told TIME for the magazine’s Person of the Year feature. “I don’t like what has happened with drug prices.”
Almost immediately, biotech stocks — which had seen a bump after Trump’s election — dropped a few percentage points.
