Investor relations firm LifeSci Advisors threw the bash during last year’s big biotech investment confab, the JP Morgan Healthcare Conference. Anticipating a male-dominated crowd, the firm hired cocktail waitresses in short dresses to mingle with guests. LifeSci Advisors explained it as a way to bring gender balance to the party.
