Like many of his fellow billionaires, Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong has donated lots of money over the years.
But in several instances, the biotech entrepreneur has deployed an unusual style of charitable giving. That style has raised questions — and been mentioned in at least two legal filings alleging that he is inappropriately blending philanthropy and business.
