  • agree these companies shouldn’t be able to market drugs to children, and companies should be required to submit ingredients to the FDA, but the restriction of addictive nicotine levels and outlaw of flavors is a serious issue of liberty, and adults should be able to choose for themselves how much nicotine they want to consume and whatever flavor they choose. companies should be able to produce whatever the people want. there are different types of people in this world. apparently, many people enjoy nicotine. that’s their choice. this is crazy. if the government bans nicotine, what’s next?

  • What a wonderful gift to the tobacco companies. Now nicotine addicts will have to purchase and smoke
more cigarettes to achieve the same blood levels of the drug that their bodies crave.

    • Exactly. Why anyone would believe for even one moment that lowering nicotine in cigarettes is due to concern for the smoker’s health my reply is ahhhhhhhahahahaahhahaahhaaaaaaahahaahaha. This is definitely a ploy to increase revenues for tobacco companies. What a wicked world.

  • the hypocrisy/double standards of gov’t never cease to amaze. while the fda tries to suppress flavorings with claims of ‘it entices children to smoke tobacco’. there are 20+ flavors of vodka yet the atf isn’t trying to squash that with such claims. you can’t sell flavored rolling papers along with tobacco since it’s a food flavoring under the fda and you can’t sell them to anyone under 18 so how does that entice children. as if adults don’t enjoy a variety flavors themselves. maybe there should only be vanilla ice cream to curb obesity as tin roof sundae and rocky road may entice children to overindulge as well.
