Drug pricing debate is here to stay

Turns out Congress is still struggling to wrap its head around how drugs go from factories to families, illustrated by a recent ontological debate between President Trump’s nominee for HHS director and U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.). And while that cat takes an extended vacation, pharma’s merry rodents remain at play, charging ever more for their drugs and testing the bounds of those self-imposed “social contracts.” — Damian Garde
