
The Forum at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, jointly with STAT, is presenting a panel discussion at noon Wednesday on sex differences in understanding, treating, and preventing health and brain diseases in women. Called “Heart and Brain Disease in Women: Sex and Gender Connections,” the event will be webcast live here and by Harvard.
The panel will be moderated by STAT senior writer Sharon Begley. Other participants include:
- Jill Goldstein, professor of psychiatry and medicine at Harvard Medical School, and executive director of the Women, Heart, and Brain Global Initiative at Massachusetts General Hospital;
- Marjorie Jenkins, director, medical initiatives and scientific engagement, in the Food and Drug Administration Office of Women’s Health;
- Ana Langer, professor of the practice of public health and director of the Women and Health Initiative at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health;
- British Robinson, CEO of the Women’s Heart Alliance.
