French, a neurologist at New York University’s Langone Health, tries to steer her patients away from sprinting to the neighborhood bodega to buy versions of the hemp derivative that’s better known as CBD.

I would not trust any information coming out of NYU Langone, particularly the Epilepsy Center, including Daniel Friedman, Orrin Devinsky, and Siddhartha Nadkarni. All three are currently under criminal investigation by the Insurance Commissioner for fraud. This investigation was referred after review by fraud investigators in the Attorney General’s office.
