The immune system is no wimp. When pathogens cause illness, it kicks into high gear. Cells work together to tag, kill and gobble up invaders as they fight the infection.
While these cells go on the offensive, other parts of the immune system store away information and learn as much as they can about the pathogen. This process helps to build immunity, so if the bug ever comes back again, the immune system will be able to detect and destroy it, preventing the person from developing the illness again.
Watch the explainer above to learn more about antibodies, immunity, and what they mean for Covid-19.
Good work done WHO God be with us all
Very educative piece.
Incomplete information. Please explain in detail
There is a serious error in this video. Having the actual measles or disease provides life-time immunity generally. Vaccines do not and that is why we are required to take so many 2nd, 3rd and etc. boosters/doses. Average time of immunity from a vaccine is only 7 years.
The loonies are coming out of the woodwork.
Yes I want to know
My question is the same , influenza is an ordinary sickness of everyone , what’s the connection of Covid 19 ?
