Fauci has led the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984 and has served under six presidents. He played a leading role advising Ronald Reagan during the HIV epidemic and Barack Obama during Obama during the Ebola outbreak in Western Africa. Now, during the Covid-19 pandemic, the public has come to view Fauci as a key part of the government’s public health response.

Facui will join STAT’s Helen Branswell during the STAT Summit to discuss the state of the pandemic and the months ahead.
