
WASHINGTON — The trade group for the pharmaceutical industry on Friday sued to block a new process, outlined by the Trump administration, that aimed to help drug makers and health care providers resolve disputes over a federal drug discount program.
The suit is the latest in a flurry of recent legal actions between the Department of Health and Human Services, providers, and the pharmaceutical industry, after several drug makers aggressively cut back on the pharmacies they would allow to dispense discounted drugs through the 340B program last summer.
