As another Covid winter turns to spring, we’ll be watching to see whether 2022’s wave of consolidation continues in a digital health industry looking to create more durable businesses coming out of the depths of the pandemic.
Mergers and acquisitions were plentiful in the first three months of the year, with companies combining to introduce new services, broaden revenue streams, and stave off competition from rivals. It seems a safe bet that we’ll see more M&A in the months ahead, as startups and more established players jockey for position in an uneven economy.
