Biogen CEO Michel Vounatsos had his bonus cut in half to “hold him accountable for the company’s overall business performance in 2021,” according to a company filing Friday.
Al Sandrock, Biogen’s longtime chief scientist who was pushed out of the company amid a dispute with Vounatsos, did not receive a bonus in 2021, the same filing showed.
Vounatsos’ total compensation, exceeding $15 million, was still higher than the previous year.
