And here is our regular feature in which we highlight a different person each week. This time around, we note that Pacira Pharmaceuticals hired Robert Weiland as chief commercial officer. Most recently, he was vice president of strategy at Baxter International. Before that, he was vice president for commercial operations and strategic analytics at Takeda Pharmaceuticals. He also spent 14 years at Abbott Laboratories.
