And here is our regular feature in which we highlight a different person each week. This time around, we note that Endo International hired Joseph Ciaffoni as president of US branded pharmaceuticals. Most recently, he was senior vice president of global specialty medicines at Biogen, where he held several roles, and, before that, he worked for Shionogi Pharmaceuticals, Schering-Plough, Sanofi-Synthelabo, and Novartis.

Eli Lilly promoted Joshua Smiley to senior vice president, finance, and treasurer;
