Merck: If you agree that $2.54 billion is a lot of money, then you would likely agree that Merck was a big winner this week. A federal court jury in Delaware ordered Gilead Sciences to fork over all those dollars after deciding Merck patents on hepatitis C drugs were infringed. It was a pretty complicated case and Gilead is going to appeal, so this story isn’t really over just yet. But still… it’s a lot of money.
I have Multiple Sclerosis for fifty-one years and there is no cure yet.I worked in the health care field for forty years and had to take an early retirement because of this MS.What is the holdup with a cure.I actually thought I would see the day a cure was found but maybe that was only a dream.I am 68 years old and just passed the 51 years of being stricken with these symptoms.Due some research and make people who are in much worse shape then I am have some hope like I have.I am still walking,talking,driving,playing with my grandchildren and golfing so please give other MS sufferers a touch of hope for the future,Thank You.
