Abbas Hussain, the global head of pharmaceuticals at GlaxoSmithKline, is leaving after being passed over for the top job. He will be replaced by Luke Miels, currently executive vice president of the AstraZeneca European business. Hussain, who joined Glaxo in 2008, was in the running to succeed Andrew Witty as Glaxo CEO, but the job went to Emma Walmsley, who has been in charge of the Glaxo consumer healthcare business, Reuters notes.
