Several major drug makers have suppressed a campaign led by the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility that was aimed at forcing the companies to disclose and justify price hikes, the Wall Street Journal reports. Ten of 11 companies approached will omit shareholder proposals on the grounds these would interfere with “ordinary business,” according to company documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
