GlaxoSmithKline investors want the pay package slashed for the new chief executive, Emma Walmsley, because it is not sufficiently lower than what was given her predecessor, Andrew Witty, SkyNews reports. Witty was paid about $1.3 million in base salary and received roughly $8 million in total compensation. Some Glaxo shareholders say her pay should appropriately reflect her experience as head of the consumer products business.
