A war of words has broken out between Gilead Sciences and Express Scripts. Last week, a Gilead exec insisted pharmacy benefit managers keep prices high. Now, an Express Scripts executive has sent a letter to the drug maker to complain that, “If you’re saying that the drug really is worth about $50,000, then it’s only right to make sure payers are made whole for overpaying,” according to Bloomberg News.
