CVS Health says its contract to provide specialty pharmacy services for the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Federal Employee Program, which serves more than 5.4 million federal employees, retirees, and dependents, will terminate at the end of the year, but will not affect its 2017 financial results. This contract is worth about $2.8 billion in revenue. The total estimated revenue for CVS contracts with the FEP program, including pharmacy benefit management services, is about $9 billion, according to Leerink analyst David Larsen.
