A federal court jury found that Johnson & Johnson and Bayer did not mislead a Louisiana man and his doctors about the health risks of the Xarelto blood thinner, Bloomberg News reports. The companies, therefore, were determined not liable for his injuries and later medical problems. This was the first of more than 18,000 patient lawsuits filed against J&J and Bayer, which jointly developed Xarelto, to come to trial.
