This time around, we note that Pfizer hired Bei Zhang as vice president of metabolic research in the worldwide R&D unit. Previously, she was vice president of Lilly research laboratories and also general manager of the Lilly R&D center in China. Before that, Zhang was site lead for diabetes discovery research at Merck laboratories.
