Merck disclosed that profits will be hit by a June 27 cyberattack. Manufacturing and formulation operations are still being restored, and packaging operations are largely restored. The company is in the process of restoring its active pharmaceutical ingredient operations but is not yet producing bulk product, although external manufacturing was not affected. Nonetheless, Merck says it has continued to fulfill orders and ship product.
