Kenneth Frazier, CEO of Merck (MRK), is resigning from President Trump’s American Manufacturing Council, prompting an angry rebuke on Twitter from Trump, STAT tells us. Frazier cited “a responsibility to take a stand against intolerance and extremism,” joining a wave of critics after Trump didn’t specifically condemn white supremacists after several people were killed and more injured when racist demonstrations turned violent over the weekend in Charlottesville, Va.
