And so, another working week will soon draw to a close. Not a moment too soon, yes? This is, as you know, our treasured signal to daydream about weekend plans. Our agenda is rather modest. We plan to putter around the castle, hang with the short person, and escort Mrs. Pharmalot to a rent party. And what about you? This is a lovely time of year to enjoy the great outdoors, although we wish those in the path of the Irma storm a safe few days. Elsewhere, perhaps this is an opportunity to catch up on sundry chores or catch up on some reading. Or maybe connect with someone special. Well, whatever you do, have a grand time. But be safe. The Food and Drug Administration is seeking comments on which existing regulations and related paperwork requirements could be modified, repealed, or replaced, Regulatory Focus tells us. The idea is to reduce the burden on industry while allowing the FDA to continue its public health mission. Currently, the agency says its regulations comprise more than 4,000 pages in the Code of Federal Regulations.
