The pharmaceutical industry trade group, known as PhRMA, collected $271 million in member dues and other income in 2016, up from $220 million the year before, Kaiser Health News says, citing Internal Revenue Service data.  The money was spread among hundreds of lobbyists, politicians and patient groups, as well as $7 million to prepare its ubiquitous “Go Boldly” ad campaign.
