Colorado is angling to become the latest state to adopt drug-pricing transparency legislation. The House passed a bill that requires drug makers to notify the state, health plans and pharmacy benefit managers when prices rise by more than 10 percent. And within 15 days after the end of each quarter, drug makers must also provide certain information to the health commissioner about price hikes and newly marketed specialty medicines. Following the passage, the bill was introduced in the state Senate.
