CVS Caremark (CVS) is suing the Ohio Department of Medicaid to block release of a full report detailing how the pharmacy benefit manager charged taxpayers up six times as much to process prescription drugs as the industry standard, The Columbus Dispatch reports. Medicaid officials previously released an executive summary, arguing the full report contained proprietary information and could not be released under state public record laws. The release is being delayed while a judge reviews claims by CVS Caremark the analysis contains confidential information and trade secrets.
