And so, another working week will soon draw to a close. Not a moment too soon, yes? This is, you may recall, our treasured signal to daydream about weekend plans. Our agenda is exceedingly modest this time around. We plan to hang with the short people, take a nap or two, and catch a vibe in a nearby park. And what about you? Summer is in full swing so perhaps the time has come to enjoy the great outdoors, or plan that getaway if you did not already do so. You could also make time to catch up on your reading or visit someone special. For those feeling adventurous, you could also place bets on how a “certain someone” will claim victory about lowering drug prices for Americans, assuming he can get his head around the issue. Well, whatever you do, have a grand time. But be safe. Enjoy, and see you soon.

Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) will travel to Canada later this month with type 1 diabetes patients seeking cheaper insulin as part of his ongoing efforts to highlight hardships imposed by drug makers on Americans, CTV tells us. The trip, which will leave from Detroit, is scheduled for July 28, just two days before presidential primary debates in the city. “This is a huge deal in the diabetes community,” says advocate Quinn Nystrom, who has been coordinating with the Sanders team. “I hope we’re going to get major traction after this trip.”
