Pfizer (PFE) Covid-19 vaccines arrive in an insulated box that’s roughly double the size of a carry-on suitcase, a package that helps explain the considerable obstacles in rolling out Pfizer-BioNTech’s vaccine, a STAT exclusive reports. The large box also represents how the pharma behemoth rebuffed the federal government, creating public health setbacks and greater profits. A Pfizer spokesperson said the company’s box sizes were designed to get doses to as many people as quickly as possible.
