The Food and Drug Administration gave full approval to the Covid-19 vaccine developed by Pfizer (PFE) and BioNTech (BNTX), STAT reports. All three coronavirus vaccines currently available in the U.S. had previously been distributed under emergency use authorizations.


The FDA’s full approval is likely to spark a new wave of employer vaccine mandates, Politico writes. President Biden on Monday called on business leaders to require the immunizations as a condition of employment.
