And here is our regular feature in which we highlight a different person each week. This time around, we note that Glympse hired Jonathan Wilde as chief scientific officer. Previously, he worked at Veracyte, where he was vice president, discovery research.

But all work and no play can make for a dull vice president, so in his spare time, Wilde likes to run on trails in the San Francisco Bay area. “I walk up the trials and run down the trails. I do this maybe, three or four times a week, maybe six to eight miles. Through the pandemic, I trained for 50K runs in Marin County. I’d cross the Golden Gate Bridge, circle around and come back across the bridge. Sometimes I go to a Redwood forest. … It’s good for staying fit. You can choose to think about something, but also not to think about something. My wife also enjoys long-distance running and we have a local running club. So it’s become a good way to meet other people in our area.”
