Hired someone new and exciting? Promoted a rising star? Finally solved that hard-to-fill spot? Share the news with us, and we’ll share it with others. That’s right. Send us your changes, and we’ll find a home for them. Don’t be shy. Everyone wants to know who is coming and going.

And here is our regular feature in which we highlight a different person each week. This time around, we note that Asher Biotherapeutics hired Andrea Pirzkall as chief medical officer. Previously, she worked at Replimune Group, where she was also chief medical officer.

But all work and no play can make for a dull chief medical officer. So in her spare time, Pirzkall enjoys a variety of fitness activities, but especially rock climbing, whether indoors or outdoors. She can scale mountains a short drive from her North Carolina home or ascend the rocks at an indoor facility she regularly visits with one of her sons. “There’s an analogy to life. There’s always a mountain to climb, a new challenge to master. And you do need strength and control and to find the best path forward. Sometimes, you need to go back to go forward, but also a strong grip and to remain mindful of how you spend your energy.”
