And here is our regular feature in which we highlight a different person each week. This time around, we note that Cognition Therapeutics hired Paul Tiseo as vice president of clinical development. Previously, he worked at Centrexion Therapeutics, where he was executive director of clinical development, and before, that he was clinical lead for pain therapeutics at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals.

But all work and no play can make for a dull vice president of clinical development. So in his spare time, Tiseo likes to take flight. A general aviation pilot, he takes his Cessna Skylane 182 for a spin once every other week. “There are a lot of aspects to it that I enjoy – the planning, understanding weather. And I like to stop for what we call the $100 hamburger or $100 omelet. I fly to an airfield an hour or two away, and hang out with other pilots and get a good meal in between flights. And yes, with the cost of fuel, it’s probably more than $100 to indulge now.”
