STAT releases its 2022 editorial and events calendar

BOSTON, MA – November 9, 2021 – STAT, a leading national health care media company, today launched its 2022 editorial and events calendar. Alongside its daily, in-depth reporting, each year STAT executes a variety of editorial features, programs, and events. The newly released calendar details all of the upcoming initiatives STAT has in store, from special reports and live chats to webinars and e-books. Many of these programs are available to sponsor.

Highlights from STAT’s 2022 editorial and events calendar include:

  • Breakthrough Science Summit in March: A day-long event that brings STAT’s R&D coverage to life. The 2022 event will be hybrid, taking place at the Apella Space in New York City and live streamed for virtual attendees. On stage, the first annual STAT R&D Impact Award will be presented to an industry researcher who has made a major contribution to human health.
  • STAT Madness in March:A lively, crowd-sourced competition that highlights the best new ideas in science and medicine — and the school spirit — coming out of the nation’s top universities and research institutions. Last year STAT Madness generated over 39 million social impressions, 900,000 pageviews, and 1 million votes. In 2022, attendees of the Breakthrough Science Summit will have the opportunity to hear a live, Shark Tank-style pitch from two STAT Madness finalists, and to cast their vote for a winner.
  • Health Tech Summit in May: Featuring STAT’s leading team of health tech reporters, this event highlights how biology and technology are converging to solve some of the biggest challenges in health and medicine. The 2022 event will be a day-long, hybrid conference taking place at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco and live streamed to virtual attendees.
  • STATUS List in February: The most authoritative roll call of influencers in health, medicine, and the life sciences. The launch of the inaugural list will be celebrated at an honoree dinner in Boston, and STAT will feature select honorees in virtual events throughout the spring.
