National Hospitals Correspondent
Casey Ross is a veteran journalist immersed in the rapidly evolving world of hospital medicine. Before joining STAT, he wrote for the Cleveland Plain Dealer and the Boston Globe, where he worked on the Spotlight Team in 2014 and was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. A Vermont native, he now lives outside Cleveland — in one of the nation’s most competitive hospital markets — and has a wife and two young children. When he’s not with them, he’s in his cornfield, cultivating some of the sweetest bi-color in the Midwest.
