Diana Cai was a AAAS Mass Media Fellow at STAT. She has contributed to science outreach and communication through several organizations, including Clubes de Ciencia México, the Broad Research Comm Lab, and Genes in Space. She received her PhD in genetics and genomics from Harvard University, where she conducted her dissertation research in a cancer biology lab. She enjoys improving her improv skills and playing racquet sports in her free time.
