Rachel Sachs is an associate professor of law at Washington University in St. Louis and a faculty scholar at the University’s Institute for Public Health. Professor Sachs holds an AB from Princeton University, a JD from Harvard Law School, and an MPH from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her research focuses on innovation policy, exploring the interaction of intellectual property law, food and drug regulation, and health law. Her work simultaneously aims to promote innovation into needed health care technologies as well as patient access to those same technologies, considering the ways in which law helps or hinders those efforts.
