This is the fourth annual presentation of the STAT Summit, and the second time STAT will be presenting this flagship event in-person. The 2022 STAT Health Tech Summit and 2022 Breakthrough Science Summit were presented in-person in San Francisco and New York, respectively, earlier this year. “It has been a thrill to conduct two in-person summits earlier this year,” said Matthew Herper, Senior Writer, Medicine, Editorial Director, Events, at STAT.  “Now we are thrilled to be painting on an even bigger canvas, creating what we promise will be a fascinating and fun live event that will make attendees better informed and better connected.” The 2022 STAT Summit will be hosted in Boston, MA, where STAT is headquartered.

Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), which represents the country’s leading innovative biopharmaceutical research companies, is the presenting sponsor for this year’s event. “As we discuss the power of innovation at this year’s STAT Summit, it’s important to also discuss how we can advance health equity so all patients can live longer, healthier lives,” said Stephen J. Ubl, President and CEO of PhRMA. “PhRMA is proud to sponsor this year’s STAT Summit and the first-ever STAT Scholarship Program, bringing diverse perspectives to the summit’s conversations about new treatments and cures.”

This year, STAT will be offering a limited number of complimentary passes for the 2022 STAT Summit via a scholarship opportunity in an effort to make the summit more accessible. This scholarship opportunity is supported by presenting sponsor, PhRMA. Interested applicants can submit an application directly with STAT on their website here. STAT will be covering the registration fees for up to 30 virtual passes, with livestream access to the program, and up to 4 attendee passes, including in-person attendance.
